Delores Jean Thuma, 89 of Huntington, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington, WV by Monsignor Dean Borgmeyer. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
She was born on January 23, 1934 in Cabin Creek, WV the daughter of the late Kate Doss. In addition to her mother, she was preceded by her husband; William Thomas” Tommy” Thuma.
Delores was a retired employee of AEP where she worked as a cook on the riverboats and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children John David Beter, Sophia Beter-Totten, Catherine Ann Beter and Angela Renee Beter. Grandchildren: Jason Beter, Sarah Beter McGinnis, Michael David Leader, Jennifer Ross and Carlton Totten. Numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchild.
Friends may call from 10:00am until service time Monday, September 18, 2023 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
