Evella Genean Straley

Evella Genean Straley, 68 of Hebron, KY passed away on March 27, 2015 at St. Joseph�s Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born on February 9, 1947 in Crum, WV; a daughter of the late Gilbert Chaffin and Polly Antha Marcum Chaffin. Evella had a deep affection for boating and the water and because of this love, for many years, she managed Lees Ford Marina on Lake Cumberland, KY. She also had a passion for travel and spent a great deal of time traveling with her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Michael Lee Straley; her beloved sons: Michael Lee Straley Jr., Steven Dwayne Straley (Carrie) and Jeffrey Brian Straley (Peggy); six grandchildren better known as her �babies�: Chad, K.C., Courtney, Hannah, Cody and Chylee Straley. The visitation will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Ceredo, W.V.; the funeral service will be conducted immediately after at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Minister Mike Saunders and Minister John Holland officiating; at the cemetery, there will be a brief committal service then burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova, WV.
