Herman Eugene Adkins, Jr., 82, of Huntington, husband of Clara Helen Chambers Adkins, passed away Friday July 10, 2015 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday July 14, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born July 20, 1932 in Huntington, a son of the late Herman and Leota Ferguson Adkins. He was a retired employee of 43 years of Cabell Huntington Hospital. Herman was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Friends may call from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. A procession will leave for the cemetery at 1:30 PM Tuesday. The American Legion Post 93 of Kenova will conduct military graveside rites.
