Herman V. Bloss

Herman V. Bloss, 95, of Huntington, WV passed away on Thursday March 29, 2018 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. He is survived by his wife Jeannine Spurlock Bloss. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Elder Gary McClellan. Burial will follow at Bloss Family Cemetery. He was born on March 10, 1923 in Wayne County, WV the son of the late Floyd and Genie Bloss. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Ann Bloss and nine brothers and sisters. Herman was a veteran of the US Navy having served in WWII and a retired employee of Houdaille Industries. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Glenn Cox, and Dianna Bloss; sons and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Rhonda Bloss, Jon Bloss, and Joshua Neil; four grandchildren, Jason and Tiffiany Cox, Ryan Michelle Bloss, Danny and Chris Cox; four great grandchildren; a sister, Nettie Jean Shank; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
