Joel Ray Moreland

Joel Ray Moreland, 71 of Boonville, IN, formerly of Huntington, WV passed away on February 6, 2018 in Newburgh, IN. He was born April 13, 1946 in Huntington, WV; a son of the late Joel Vincent Moreland and Essie Pauline Stewart Moreland. Joel leaves behind his children: Joel Burton (Shannon) of Boonville, IN, Essie Holland (Joey) and Peggy Hamlin (Earl) of Proctorville, OH, Joe Wilson (Sumer) of Huntington, WV and Leonard Burton (Jennifer) of Ashland, KY; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Frank Moreland and his wife Delores of Lawton, OK; and his friends, Carl Watts and "Bugsy". Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV, with Pastor Tommy Belville officiating.
