Lawrence "Larry" Thornton Maddox Jr.

Lawrence 'Larry' Thornton Maddox Jr., 70. of Huntington, WV passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Chapel at noon. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memorial Gardens. Larry was born on August 18, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of the late Lawrence Thornton Maddox Sr. and Margaret Stephenson Maddox. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter; Kimberly Orme. Larry was a retired school teacher in Greenup County Schools. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Edna Frazier Maddox, two sons: John Maddox and Robert Orme, three daughters; Loma Kay Maddox, Christina Martin and Carissa Wilson. grandchildren; Jamie Whittington and Derek Orme and a host of grandchildren adn great grandchildren.
