Mary Ann Castro

MARY ANN CASTRO, 49, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Mary was born on November 3, 1964, in Richmond, Va., the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Lang Shifflett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Lorine Potter. Mary is survived by her husband, Sergio Castro; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Shifflett and Chelsea Tagaloa; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Shifflett and Chris France; two step-daughters, Kim and Shannon Loving; seven great-grandchildren, Cole and Piers France, Caleb and Alayzah Shifflett, Christopher and Tyler Shifflett and Hailey Loving; one brother and sister-in-law, Wilson and Pat Shifflett; uncle and aunt, Johnny and Jackie Burgess; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Reger Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday evening at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
