Andrew Joseph Schaffer

Andrew Joseph Schaffer, 49 of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, March, 6, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.  Funeral Liturgy will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 11, 2023  at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington, by Monsignor Dean Borgmeyer.  Andrew was born June 18, 1973 in Parkersburg, WV a son of Joseph Michael Schaffer and the late Thomasina Kathryn Shipman Schaffer.  He was a hearing care specialist, having worked for Beltone and Beltopia.  In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Joseph and Helena Brown Schaffer and his maternal grandparents:  Thomas and Mary Iva Gorby Shipman.  He is survived by his children: Laura Schaffer, Emily Iva Schaffer, Vivienne Schaffer, Trevor Schaffer, Gretta Schaffer, Tucker Schaffer; one grandson Josiah Sloan, and two step daughters: Alexandra Adkins and Emmalina Adkins; one brother, Matthew Schaffer; two uncles  and two aunts Paul (Linda Weger ) Schaffer, John Schaffer and Rebecca Shipman Hurst.
