Boyd Ray Frye

Boyd Ray Frye passed away at 9:35 p.m. on August 27th 2025 at KDMC ICU. After a long week of fighting in the ICU and finally being put on life support the family decided to let him pass peacefully. He was comfortable and he was surrounded by loved ones when he passed. He will be greatly missed and loved always by his children, grandchildren and his siblings. He is survived by his sons, Scott Pelfrey, Jason Frye, and Thomas Frye; his daughters, Ashley Frye and Jessica Frye. He was survived by his siblings, Tim Frye, Evelyn Mills and Carlene McCormick. He is also survived by his grandkids, Hayden Frye and Russell Williamson.

He did choose to have a nontraditional burial, he was cremated by the Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, West Virginia. His brother, Tim; and his son, Thomas Frye will be picking up his ashes and taking them to the Goldbury Cemetery in Logan County, West Virginia and he will be placed with his parents, Alfred Jennings Frye and Denise Frye.
