Bradley Clay Hutchison, 36, of Huntington, WV, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, January 5, 2026. He was born January 16, 1989, in Huntington. Brad grew up going to hardcore music shows, where he met many of his friends. He loved music and had an encyclopedic memory of band names and songs. Brad had a passion for professional wrestling and playing baseball which he shared with his brother, Andy. He also loved coaching and being a mentor for Vinson Little League. The Cincinnati Reds were his favorite team and his favorite player was Elly De La Cruz. Brad was also an avid fan of Marshall University athletics. He always had fond memories of watching movies and TV shows with his grandpa Jim. He was a family man, loyal, loving and kind. Brad was a God fearing man, he was saved and baptized with his wife in 2025. He prayed with his family every night and every morning. He taught his son to pray before bed. He was a member of the Huntington Beacon of HOPE SDA Church. Brad was preceded in death by his beloved brother Andrew Hutchison; papaw Jim Anness; aunt Alisha Grant and cousin Franky Price. He is survived by his wife Michaela; his children Drew and Evie; mother Kathy Hutchison; father Fred (Karen) Hutchison; mother in law Tammy Vance; grandparents Dave and Linda Kloman; brother Seth (Danielle) Lewis; sisters Hilary (James) Hennings and Haylee Smith; sister in law Korenne (Paul) Morrison; aunts Sue Ellen Chapman (Brent Wallace), April Long, Sharon (Alan) Dodge, Fay (Larry) Queen; uncles Frank (Teri) Hutchison and Barry (Leah) Lewis; nieces and nephews, Cali Hutchison and Cait Townsend, Korbin Smith, Zachary Morrison, Mackenzie Morrison, Marcus Lewis and Jase and Caden Hennings. He also leaves behind an abundance of cousins, special friends, co-workers and family from Cabell Huntington Hospital. Brad was loved by all who knew him. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday, January 11, 2026 by Pastor Johnathan Ryan at the Huntington Beacon of HOPE SDA Church.
