Carol Lavonne Wilson Thompson, 89, of Flatwoods, KY. Passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00am at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.

She was born on October 13, 1936 in Baxter, WV the daughter of the late Arnold David and Anna Fay Newell Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Arthur Robert Thompson Sr.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Paula Fay Sifferd (David), Arthur R. Thompson Jr. (Tracy) and Carla Mae Boyles (Donavan). In addition to her children she is survived by her grandchildren; Cirena L.(Sifferd) Evenson (Nathan), Deidra F. (Sifferd) Charnes(Christopher), David W. Sifferd III, Arthur R. Thompson III (Amy), Sarah J. (Thompson) McAlister (Stuart), Jeane  A. Thompson (Ryan), Carolyn M. Thompson, Ian Oldenburg and Andrew D.Boyles (Ellen) and great grandchildren: Natalie, Benjamin and Owen Evenson, Charles and Wesley McAlister, Evangelene, Wesley and Josephine Charnes, Arthur R. Thompson IV and Brooklyn Thompson and Baby Boyles

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10:00 am until service time at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
