With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Charles Marvin Kelly, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Marvin passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025 at the age of 88.

Born on March 8, 1937 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, Marvin was the son of the late Homer and Lucy Kelly. Marvin was married to Emma Lou (Copen) Kelly in 1959, until her passing. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Donald Kelly, Dean Kelly, Lloyd Kelly and David Kelly.

Marvin was a devoted father to his daughter, Robin Linkfield (mark-deceased), and his son, John Kelly (Kim). He is proud and loving grandfather to Kelly Morgan (Bub), Mindy Clark (Andy), John Kelly II (Dani) and Jacob Kelly. His legacy continues through 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and his beloved siblings: Janet Martin (Jackie), Evelyn Peters, and Dwight Kelly (Sherry).

Marvin dedicated much of his life to his work. He began his career with NAPA and First City Auto Sales before opening Kelly"s  Auto Parts Store. After closing the auto parts store, Marvin transitioned his passion for lawn care into a successful business with his own lawn company, where he continued working until his retirement.
