Clifford Ray Shepherd

Clifford Ray Shepherd, 89, of Huntington passed away Thursday February 7, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Roger Mooney. Burial will be in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born July 26, 1929 in Huntington, WV. A son of the late William Thurman and Ethel Elizabeth Steele Shepherd. He was a retired truck driver for the Stanley Brothers. He was a member of Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons-in-law David Chessor and Sam Rowe, 4 brothers and 10 sisters. Survivors include his wife of 67 years Betty Shepherd, 4 daughters and 2 sons- in- law Callie Chessor, Debra Shepherd, Sherry Ford(Van Ford), and Lori Adkins (Timothy Adkins), 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
