David Scott Ferguson

David Scott Ferguson, 67, of Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 7 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Scott was an engine repairman. Scott was born on June 20, 1958 in Huntington, W.Va., to the late James Richard Ferguson and Reba Faye Thacker Ferguson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Evan Ferguson; and one brother, Dick Ferguson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Phyllis Ferguson; son, Curtis Ferguson;  stop-mother, Sally Ferguson; grandchildren, Colton, Cayden, Summer, Nicole, and Adam Ferguson; one brother and sister-in-law, Dan (Patty) Ferguson; sister-in-law, Carlotta Ferguson of Winchester, Tenn.; nieces, Sylvia and Leigh Ann; and cousins, Randy Ferguson, Susy Ferguson Evans, Vernon F.
