David Leo Harrington, Jr.

David Leo Harrington, Jr., of Huntington, WV passed away on Friday at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio

A Celebration of Life services will be conducted on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington.

He was born on March, 7, 1957 in Point Pleasant, NJ the son of the late David Leo and Elizabeth Margaret Mee Harrington. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his brother and sisters: Dan, Mary and Kay.

He was a retiree for the city of Huntington where he was the Director of Finance and the former director of Unlimited Future Inc. He was a graduate of Salem University and received his masters from Marshall University

He is survived by his children and their spouses: Maggie and Alex Ohneck, Molly Harrington and Mary and Stanley Jules. Grandchildren are Rylee, Piper and Boone Ohneck, William Harrington Crawford and Jaden Jules. One sister: Beth Thaxton

David was a Founding Legacy/Charter member of Grace Christian Fellowship, Huntington, WV, where he served on the Fellowship Board. He was an active participant in BOOST Bible Study, and volunteered with the Feeding With Grace ministry.   David loved spending time at the ocean and he was always optimistic and he loved to enjoy life.
