Debbie Ratliff

Debbie Ratliff, age 68 of Flatwoods, passed away on Jan. 27, 2022. She was born in Ashland to the late Earl Carter and Ruby McClave Carter. Debbie was a graduate from Paul G. Blazer high school and a retired Registered Nurse of over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. She loved traveling and geocaching with her husband. She also loved to read, bird watch and UK basketball. She is survived by the love of her life, best friend and husband, Phillip Ratliff, seven children and step-children; Beth (Fred) Ramey, Leslie Byerley, Carrie (Terry) Rowe, Phillip (Rachel) Ratliff, Julie (Darrell) Ratliff, Brittany (Cory) Brown, and Jordan (Emily) Ratliff, six wonderful grandchildren; Gavin, Emma, Amber, Mason, Brooke, and Jack Henry, a brother Stephen (Cherie) Carter, a sister Kelly Harless, sister-in-law Sharon Gothard, and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services, a memorial will be held for the family at a later date. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
