Diana Kay Ruley

Diana Kay Ruley, 78, of Huntington, WV, entered the gates of Heaven on May 9, 2025.  She is best known for her abiding love of Christ and her family.  She was born in Ceredo, on November 3, 1946 to the late Georgia Lea Sperry.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lora Lea Ruley and her grandson Benjamin Joel Ruley.  She is survived by her three children: Ray (Jen) Ruley, Chris (Wida) Ruley and Shawna (Scott) Napier; one brother, Wes(Nikki) Sperry, and her twin sister, Daria Sperry.  She was a very proud Nana to 16 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.  She dedicated her life to children, starting at 16 years of age, as a candy striper at St. Mary's.  She went on to study pediatric nursing, then pursuing a life- long career in early childhood development with Children's Place and River Valley.  She was also a member of Norway Avenue Church of Christ where she faithfully served the children in Lord's Lap.  Funeral services will be held at Reger Funeral Home Ceredo Chapel at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025, with visitation being from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm.
