Donna Yvette Lewis

Donna Yvette Staley Lewis, 65, of Huntington, WV went home to be with Yahweh, Sunday, August 17th, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am on Thursday, August 21st, 2025 at Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, by Jimbo Insco and Pastor Tom Sharp. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington,WV. She was born January 28,1960 in Huntington, WV a daughter to the late Donald Staley and Gene and Glenna Johnson. She was a retired VBS Director of the Greater Huntington Southern Baptist Convention. Donna was an avid cook, a football and softball fanatic, and loved any holiday that brought her family together. To those who knew and loved her most, she was the life of the party. She was a member of the Altizer Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Dale Staley and Gene Alan Johnson, a Special sister Belinda Hicks, and an angel baby. Survivors include her loving husband C. “Mike” Lewis, one son and daughter-in-law Adam and Misty Lewis of Ashland,KY, one daughter Katelyn Lewis of Huntington, WV, two grand children Madison Graham and Landon Lewis, one sister Lou Ann Pennington of Boydton,VA, one brother and daughter-in-law Rusty and Elaine Newell, two special daughters and son-in-laws Kelsie and Tyler Goble of Flatwoods,KY, and Kathleen and Tyler Linville of Huntington,WV, and a special sister Cheryl Yates with special daughters Sarah and Alex Bledsoe of Canton, OH, and numerous grandchildren,nieces, and nephews. Donna’s heart was so big like her mother’s that she extended her family by “adopting” more people as her own and those that were “adopted” knew that they were hers. The family asks that all attendees wear her favorite colors if possible of pink or lime green. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 at Reger Funeral Home Huntington.
