Doris Napier Kelley

Doris N. Kelley (Napier), 84 years old, passed away at her home in Crown City, OH on October 3, 2026. Doris was born on May 13, 1942 in Wayne County, WV to the late Fred Napier and Elsie Crockett Napier. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Samuel Napier and Lemuel Napier; one sister, Freda Mae Bays. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Susan Nichole Kelley-Jarrell and a son, Jackson Lee Kelley II. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Jackson Lee Kelley of Crown City, OH; a son, Jason (Ellen) Kelley of Bokeelia, FL; two grandsons, Seth (Megan) Jarrell and Lucas Jarrell of Crown City, OH; one very special great-granddaughter, Elsie Lynn Jarrell; one niece, Jacqueline (Mike) Jones of Burlington, OH; and one nephew, Samuel Shad Bays. Doris grew up in Huntington, WV and graduated from Huntington High School. She was employed by CSX Railroad for over 40 years. Like her mother, she enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She also enjoyed playing piano, listening to music and spending winters in Fort Myers Beach, FL. Doris loved her animals including her two dogs and her cats. More than anything else though, Doris loved her family. She always put her family’s needs above her own and would do anything to help them. She is irreplaceable and will be missed terribly by her family. Her survivors take some comfort knowing she has been reunited in Heaven with all of her loved ones that passed before her. We love you and will miss you forever, mom. Graveside service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the Crockett-Kelley Family Cemetery in Wayne, WV. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
