Edith Brown Freeman

Edith Brown Freeman, 97 of Huntington,WV passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. She was born May 21, 1918 in Lincoln County, West Virginia a daughter of the late Samuel and Georgia Lambert. She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Church of Chapmanville, WV. She was also preceded in death by her husbands: Glen Brown and Jerry Freeman. In addition, she was preceded in death by four brothers; June, Clarence, Lonnie and Wetzel Lambert; also two sisters: Gladys Wilson and Verna Minola. Those that survive her include one son Glen J. Brown of Winter Springs, FL and one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah (James) Byrd of Huntington, WV. Also surviving are six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
