Gregory Allen Perkins

Gregory Allen Perkins, 54, of Kenova, West Virginia, went to his heavenly home on May 19, 2025. After a courageous battle with cancer, he has been healed and received eternal life through Jesus Christ. He was greeted at Heaven’s gates by his beautiful wife Teresa, as well as his brother Daniel and his sister Laura. He leaves behind his mother Carolyn, his children Kayla, Kevin (Kirsten), Emily, and Morgan, step-children Isaiah and Grace, his beloved grand-children Tycen, Malaia, and Armone, his brother David (Crystal), sister-in-law Rose, father-in-law Charlie (Mona), dear friends Kenny and Erin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He loved us all dearly and he will be greatly missed. He worked hard to provide for his family as a professional land surveyor and ran his own business Perkins Surveying, LLC. He enjoyed coaching soccer, going to church, his dogs Macy and Peanut, hunting, camping, riding rollercoasters, watching Nascar, spending time with his family, and traveling the world, especially to anywhere with a beach. He was a member of First Independent Missionary Baptist Church (FIMBC) of Kenova. Per his wishes, a private burial service for family will be conducted by Pastor Zach Johnson at Docks Creek Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life held at FIMBC in Kenova, WV on Saturday May 31st at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Operation Christmas Child in care of FIMBC of Kenova. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the excellent care provided by the staff at the chemo infusion center at the Edward’s Comprehensive Cancer Center, the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, and Dr Alex Kim of UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
