Helen Kay "Katie" Pyles

Helen Kay "Katie" Pyles, 70, of Huntington, passed away Monday July 13, 2026 at UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.  Katie was born May 1, 1956, a daughter of the late John Homer and Betty Joann Adams Howerton.  She loved crafting.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Chris Howerton and James "Bodhi" Howerton.  Survivors include her siblings Michael Howerton, Deborah (Jack) Hicks, Mark (Karen) Howerton and Tresa (John) Hays and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor John Hays and Pastor Tim Porter on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.
