Henry Eugene Payne

Henry E. Payne, 90, of Ceredo, WV passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  He was born on November 12, 1935 in Barboursville, WV,  the son of the late Walter Lee and Constance Campbell Payne. He retired from Prime Source Building material as a manager with 45 years of service. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He was an avid golfer.  For 20 years, he and his wife Becky kept their houseboat at the Holiday Point Marina in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, where they were apart of wonderful boating community.  He was a member of Ceredo Baptist Church and a graduate of THE Vinson High School.  In addition to his parents he was preceded by his son Dale Payne.  He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Rebecca "Becky" Payne; three daughters Kim Brikey of Kentucky, Kristy Woodard of Florida and Leah Inkenbrandt of Florida; a step daughter and step son,  Michelle Hurn of Huntington and Tim Hurn of Ohio; granchildren, Braydan, Coalton and Layton Brickey, Sara (Matt) Lupardus, Robert Inkenbrandt, Nicole Maxey, Christine Meter, Dylan Lester, Kellan Wolfe, Gracie Stephens and Zander Hurn; great grandchild, Camren Brickey and his fur baby Max.  Per his request their will be no services.  Reger Funeral Home, Ceredo, WV is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
