Irmgard Hedwig Ross

Irmgard Hedwig Ross, 87 of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 in Cabell Huntington Hospital.  She was born December 7, 1938 in Gelnhausen, Germany a daughter of the late Clemens and Anna Pfeifer Werner.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Tim Ross; and three brothers, Eduard Werner (Ruth), Hubert Werner (Helma) and Richard Werner (Gertrud). Surviving are her four daughters: Monika Jackson (Jeff), Karin Marshall (Steve), Denise Meadows, Teresa Chapman, eight grand children: Christopher Meadows (Amanda), Tim Meadows (Damon Silas), Andrew Meadows, Stephanie Long ( Josh), Shane Blevins, Jacob Blevins,(Kristen), Bobby Jackson, Danny Jackson, and 10 great-grandchildren: Alex Long, Zach Long, Hannah Long, Elias Blevins, Roman Blevins, Belle Blevins, Mallory Blevins, Mason Blevins, Rory Blevins, and Zoey Meadows; one brother Hermann Werner ( Gisela). Irmgard was passionate about her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved traveling, going to her church, planting flowers, and playing board games. Irmgard will be remembered for her bright smile and big personality.   A visitation will be from 5-6 PM Wednesday, May 13, at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. The Christian Liturgy will be performed at Our Lady of Fatima Church by Fr. Martin Smay, 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 14, 2026.  Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery followed by a celebration of life luncheon at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall.
