JACKIE BRUCE ADKINS, 55, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Keith Watters. Burial will be in the Insco Cemetery, Wayne, W.Va. Jackie was born July 4, 1958, in Cabell County, W.Va. a son of the late Jack and Mandy Insco Adkins. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a heart of gold and his caring nature influenced many lives. He was a former truck driver. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years Jeanne Adkins, a son Dominic Alexander Adkins at home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Trina Owens of Lavalette, Kathy Adkins Roth and her husband Jeff of Huntington; seven grandchildren who were the light of his life, Richard Bruce Owens, Damian Skaggs, Dalton Gue, Cheyenne Roth, Mandy Roth, Jaide Roth and Joni Roth; a brother Melvin Adkins of Huntington; two sisters, Judy White of Tennessee and Brenda Flemings and Bill of Huntington.
