James H. Blackburn 91, of Catlettsburg, KY. Passed away on June 15, 2024 at Hospice Care of Ashland, KY. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Catlettsburg Cemetery
He was born on October 24, 1932 in Whitehouse, KY. The son of the late Henry and Lucy Adams Blackburn. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife Barbara Lee Blackburn
He was a retired electrician with over 40 years with Steel of WV and also built several house in his lifetime.
His pride and joy were his three daughters; Trudy and Gary Dingess of Ceredo, WV, Judy Solar of North Carolina, and Lindy and Jim Saunders of Virginia. He had 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
There will be a private visitation.
