Janet Mae Gardner

Janet Mae Gardner, 96, of Ona, WV, widow of Ray Martin Gardner, passed away Friday April 24, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday April 29, 2026 at the Madison Ave. Christian Church by Pastor Tracy Mills.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.  She was born June 8, 1929 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Harry and Hattie Lee Gregory Wright.  Janet was a homemaker.  In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda L. Hall; two brothers Harry Howard Wright and Moxie Woodrow Wright and three sisters Freda Faye Wright, Thelma L. Lamb and Molly Bower.  Survivors include her sons and daughters in law Danny Ray and Charlott Aldridge Gardner and Harry Martin and Linda Tomkies Gardner; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 11:30 am until service time on Wednesday at the Madison Ave. Christian Church.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington or the Madison Ave. Christian Church.
