Jerry Elvis Sheffield

Jerry Elvis Sheffield, 83 of Lavalette, WV passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  Jerry was born July 8, 1937 in Mobile, Alabama a son of the late Johnny Elvis Sheffield and the late Azilee MaCaw Sheffield. He was also preceded in death by many much loved family members. He was retired from the United States Army as a Captain and also from the Veterans Regional Office where he had worked as a Liason. He was an avid bowler, a long time stamp and coin collector and a frequent cinema attendee. Surviving him are his wife Sandy Sheffield and many other close loved ones. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Jerry will be interred at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery.  A service  with   Military rites will be held for Jerry in the Spring. An announcement will be made once these have been scheduled.
