John Richard Pelfrey, 77, of Huntington, widower of Rita Lynn Pelfrey, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 2pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Burial will follow in Robertson Family Cemetery, Fort Gay, W.Va. He was an electrician. Friends may call from noon until service time on Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
