John William Barrett

John William Barrett, 60, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Wednesday March 23, 2016 in Bluefield, WV. He was born June 5, 1955 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Tommy Junior Barrett and Sallie Bledsoe Black. John was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War and he attended Open Door Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons John Barrett, Randy Hutchinson and Amber Black and John Hutchinson; three daughters and two sons in law Deliah Barrett, Pamela and Jeremy Day and Jennifer and Teddy Hicks; brother and sister in law Tommy and Key Barrett; several nieces and nephews and a very special mom Lillian (Ed) Adkins. Friends may call from 3 to 5 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home. Military rites will be conducted at 5 pm at the funeral home by the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova.
