Joseph Franklyn Edwards

Joseph Franklyn Edwards, 78, of Huntington, West Virginia passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Joe was a devoted husband, father and friend whose life was defined by hard work, loyalty, and love for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cherie Edwards: his son, Byron Edwards (Nikki Watson): and his cherished fur daughter, Willow Grace, who brought him great joy and companionship.

Joe was retired from Owens- Illinois and Plasser America in Chesapeake, Virginia. During his time in Chesapeake, he formed strong, lasting friendships that meant a great deal to him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Joe's honor at Creekside Restaurant on January 16, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived.

Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
