JUDITH ANN (MILLER) LAMBERT
Lambert, Judith Ann (Miller), 91, of Huntington, WV, passed away on September 28, 2025 at the Woodlands in Huntington. Born on July 5, 1934 in Jackson, Ohio, she was the daughter of Timothy Ira Miller and Lena (Lambert) Miller. After graduating from Jackson (Ohio) High School, she continued her education at Transylvania College (now Transylvania University) in Lexington, KY where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music education and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Following her marriage to David Lambert in 1957, she moved to Huntington, WV where her husband was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Mrs. Lambert and her husband raised two sons in Huntington. She was a very active member of Madison Avenue Christian Church in Huntington, serving as church organist for more than 50 years and teaching Sunday School for more than 40 years. She was also active in the Westmoreland community as a piano teacher for more than 40 years and served as an officer (including president) of the West Virginia Music Teachers Association for several years. Mrs. Lambert was predeceased in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years, David Lambert, and her brother, Robert D. Miller. She is survived by two sons, John G. Lambert (Sally) of Sugar Land, TX and Tim A. Lambert of Lexington, KY; and three granddaughters, Jessica Rudd Lambert (Trey Clark) of Denton, TX, Sally Wren Lambert of Lexington, KY and Molly Jane Lambert of Lexington, KY. Visitation will be held at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington (1242 Adams Avenue) on Friday, October 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Madison Avenue Christian Church (712 12th St. W.) on Saturday, October 25 at 4:00 p.m. Condolences may be made at www.regerfh.com.
