Larry Ray Holderby

Larry Ray Holderby, 81, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on January 24, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center, in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born November 3, 1942, a son of the late Garland and Lavona Holderby. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Donohoe. He served several years in the United States Army. Following his service in the Army , he worked at Owens-Illinois Glass and then became a truck driver. Survivors include a son, Larry Ray Holderby, Jr.(Elissa) and his two granddaughters, Meredith and Mackenzie (Tucker); daughter, Lecia Carpenter (Joe) and his grandson Logan Carpenter; a brother, Robert Lee Holderby and his wife Roberta and his nephews and nieces, Derrick, Patrick and Hannah Holderby; a loving sister, Judie A. Holderby and a special friend, Marie Thomas, of Ohio. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
