Lillie Virginia Burton

Lillie Virginia Burton, 97 years and 9 months, of Worthington, KY on Monday May 19, 2025. The Lord called her out of this world.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Phillip Warren. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.

She was born in Branchland , WV on August 19, 1927 to the late George W. and Idona  Harless Triplett. She is the last of 10 children, six brothers and three sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brothers: David, Luther, William ,Lincoln, Bennie and Ronnie Triplett. Three sisters: Vida Holland, Mae Smith and Helen Parsons. Two grandsons: Nickie Adkins and Christopher Salyers. A daughter and son in law: Sandra Kay Adkins and William L. Adkins and a son: Billie Ray Burton.

She is survived by three daughters: Virginia Ruth (Garry) Metz, Barbara Gail Burton and Carolyn Sue Burton. 12 grandchildren: Sheila Lynn(Bill) Artis, Kelly(David)Stump, Kimberly(Shawn) Miller, Misty(Carl) Wheeler, Lisa Salyers (Mike Wills), Clifton Ray Adkins (Jennifer), Ben (Daphine) Adkins. 26 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren. Two special great great grandchildren whom she was helping raise Waylon Gullett and Mylah Gullett. To her family she was their world she will be greatly missed.
