Lorena Waltz Smith

Lorena Waltz Miller Smith, 86, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Huntington Veterans Administration Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday September 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial and military rites will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Lorena was an accounting clerk with Owens Illinois and Columbia Paint Co. and a veteran of the Army Air Corp. having served in WWII She was born on September 10, 1924 in Kanawha County, WV the daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl Staats Waltz. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother; Charles E. Waltz and sister; Mary A. Sheers. She is survived by her husband: Charles E. Smith, one son and daughter in law: David L. and Carol Miller of NC.
