Lucille Francis Harris

Lucille “Lucy” Harris, 91, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born on November 11, 1933 in High Coal , WV the daughter of the late Martin and Dora Curtis Chapman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Herbert Harris; daughter, Susan Hazlett and son-in-law, Vernon Clagg. She is survived by sisters, Charlotte Linville, Nancy Ray and Sue May; four daughters, Terry Clagg, Kim (John) Comeau, Sharon (Danny) Clagg and Rhonda (Ken) Schmidt; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly. Lucy loved her family, her church family, reading her Bible and Christian mystery novels and going to church. She was the backbone of our family and we will cherish our memories with her always. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday, October 20, 2025 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington and the funeral will follow at 1:00 pm conducted by Brother Roger Mooney.
