Mabel Ruth Finley

MABEL RUTH FINLEY, 90, widow of James R. Finley, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Barboursville, W.Va., by Rev. Christopher Farrow. Burial will follow. She was born December 3, 1913, in Princeton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Winston and Blanche Perdue Sarver. She was a homemaker. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sandra Finley; three grandsons and their spouses, Paul and Traci Finley, Steve and Amy Finley and James Finley; three great-grandsons Ethan, Kyle and Cody Finley; and one sister, Ruth Dean. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery. Reger Funeral Home of Huntington is in charge of arrangements.
