Mildred Doris Ray

Mrs. Mildred Doris Ray, 85, of Prichard, WV, went home to be with the Lord March 16, 2013, at her home after a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Thursday March 21, 2013 at Ceredo Kenova Funeral with Rev. James Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Hatten Cemetery. Mildred was born July 10, 1927, in Proctorville, OH., a daughter of the late Millard and Zella Massie Hay. She was a member of the Upper Gragston Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Taylor; two brothers Homer and Jimmy Hay; two sisters, Maggie Murphy and Nora Belle Little. She is survived by one daughter Connie Dean; two sons Terry Good, and Russell Good of Dayton, OH; a granddaughter whom she raised, Stacy Good; five brothers Robert "Bobby" Hay and wife Jean Hay; Herman Hay and wife Arlene; Herbert Hay and wife Fon; and Morgan and Russell Hay, and her dearest life-long friend Nellie Jordan; 14 additional grandchildren a host of great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Wednesday March 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Ceredo Kenova Funeral Home.
