Minnie Frances Carter

Minnie Frances Carter, 89, of Huntington, passed away Monday October 22, 2012 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at Springhill Cemetery, Huntington. Burial will follow. She was born November 11, 1923 in Huntington a daughter of the late George and Minnie Isabelle Watts Pinkerton. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Ancil Newman and her second husband Robert Carter; four sons Timothy Newman, David Newman, Gary Newman and Roger Newman and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her two daughters Brenda Joyce Laney and Phyllis Ann Sizemore; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister Myrtle Rood.
