Mr. George Robert Nicholas

George Robert Nicholas, 89, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 11, 2013, at the Abbey of Remembrance at Woodmere Memorial Park by Rev. Andy Magnusson. Burial will follow. He was born January 13, 1924 in Huntington, W. Va. a son of the late Robert Heber and Lula Davis Nicholas. He was employed by the H. J. Heinz Company, Beechnut and Mutual Wholesale Company of Huntington. He was a member of the Baptist Temple. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Doris Ann Linville Nicholas and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1:00 pm Sunday till service time at the Abbey of Remembrance at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
