Obie P Mitchell

Obie P. Mitchell passed away Monday Oct 19 2026. He was born March 26 1936 in Newtown, WV to the late John and Sara Tomblin Mitchell. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by Megan Mitchell.

Surviving are his wife Susan Mitchell; son Obie J and Anissa Mitchell; daughter Kimberly and Mike Burton; grandchildren Michael and Suzy Burton, Dustin and Brittany Burton and Morgan and Justin Smith; great grandchildren Savannah Burton, Abby Burton and fiance Levi, Brylee and Kasen Burton, Emma and Lincoln Smith; great great granddaughter Elaina Burton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Saturday Oct 31 at Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel, Ceredo WV. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV.
