Owen Edwards

Owen Silas Edwards, 87, of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Paramount Senior Living Center.

He was born on October 9, 1938 in Putnam County, WV the son of the late Roy Leslie Edwards and Lilly Ellen Bird Edwards.

He was a retired lab technician with Novemont Industries. A member of the WV Army National Guard and Celebration Church.

He was preceded in death by his son in law: Mark Michael

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Shirley Bateman Edwards. Son and daughter in law; Rodney and Lisa Edwards, daughter: Kimberly Michael, grandchildren: Courtney Hutchinson(Isaac), Travis Michael, Tyler Michael(Megan), Seth Edwards(KC), great grandchildren: Zoe Regan(Caleb), Asher Hutchinson, Willow Hutchinson and Farryn Edwards. Two brothers and a sister: Alvie Edwards , Dennis Edwards and Shirley Carpenter.
