Pauline L. Carter

Pauline L. Carter, 88, of Huntington, passed away Saturday Feb. 3, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne, WV, by Pastor Tim Yates. Burial will follow. Pauline was born October 31, 1929 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Herbert and Minerva Lloyd Bailey. She was a retired employee of Corbin Ltd. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother Junior Bailey and sisters Dorothy Frasher and Mabel Marshall. Survivors include a son and daughter in law Tom and Pam Carter of Chesapeake, Ohio; a daughter and son in law Paula and Kenny Thornhill of Huntington; grandchildren Kenny Thornhill, Jr. and Heather Crigger; great grandchildren Cierra and Gabriel Akers; brother and sister in law Jack and Eloise Bailey of Branchland, WV; two sisters Naomi Ruth Childers of Ona, WV and Wilma Small of Tucson, AZ and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon until 1 pm Friday at the Reger Funeral Home. A procession will leave for the cemetery at 1 pm Friday from the funeral home.
