Phyllis Maxine Huffman

Phyllis M. Huffman, 79, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo and had been a Sunday School Teacher for fifty years at various churches. Phyllis was born in Muncie, IN to the late Wesley Allen and Nina Settle Galyean. Surviving is her husband of sixty years, Milton �Corkey� Huffman II, sons, Milton S. Huffman III of Knotts Island, NC, Dave A. Huffman and wife Donna of Flatwoods, KY and Daniel S. Huffman of Columbus, OH. She was the proud grandmother of three, Amber Dawn and Shane Whitt, Aaron David Huffman, and Allison Danae Huffman and two precious great-grandchildren Rylee Sue Whitt, Maisyn Lila Whitt. Also surviving are a brother William Eugene Gaylean and a sister Rosemary Cook. At Phyllis� request, the services will be private with Pastor Rodney Hale officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the Alzheimer Association at 1111 E. Lee St., Charleston, WV 25301.
