Raymond Lewis Reffitt, Jr.

Raymond Lewis Reffitt Jr, 66 years old, passed away at Cabell Huntington Hospital Thursday, May 8, 2025. Born June 18, 1958, in Huntington, W.Va.

Ray was a retired plumber working mainly in Texas and Michigan for most of his career. He loved the Detroit Lions and Red Wings.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Lewis Reffitt of Huntington, W.Va. and Phillis Fielder, of Detroit, MI. As well as a son Raymond Lewis Reffitt, III of Detroit, MI.

He is survived by brothers, Rick Reffitt of Louisa, KY., Tim Reffitt of Ft. Meyers, Fla., and Michael Reffitt of Huntington, WV. As well as his sister, Melissa Boyd of Detroit, MI. Plus, many nieces and nephews.

Ray wishes for no funeral service or memorial, and those wishes will be honored. There will be a small family gathering to remember and reminisce about his life and the impact he made on so many people.

Ray will be dearly missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
