Rebecca "Becky" Moir

Rebecca "Becky" Pearl Moir, daughter of the late Brack and Virginia "Lorraine" Yaste, went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Becky was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Allan Lee Moir; her brother, Dennis A. Yates; her sister-in-law and husband, Bill and Kay Kast. She is lovingly remembered by her three children, Lee Anne Clarke (late husband, Ian), David Allan Moir (Laura), and James "Jay" Brack Moir (Beverly).

Becky was a cherished grandmother to Becca Brown (Alex), Jacob Lockhart (Jillian), Mackenzie Moir (fiance, Jordan Musgrave), Zachary Moir (Alexis), Sarah Henderson (Anthony), Taylor Tompkins (Josh), and Jayce Moir. She was also the proud great grandmother of seven boys. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Shanna Myers (John), Jessica Taillefer (late husband, Robert), and Jon Kast (Jill). 

Becky and Al devoted their lives to faithfully serving the Lord and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with others. Together, they served with The Navigators for 25 years, including 14 years as missionaries in Indonesia, where they faithfully ministered, discipled believers, and invest their lives in the spread of the Gospel. Their love for Christ shaped every aspect of their lives and continued long after they returned home through their service in their church, their community, and their family. 

Those who knew Becky will remember her for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, servant's heart, and deep love for her family. She was quick to encourage, faithful in prayer, generous with her time, and steadfast in pointing others to Christ. Her enduring trust in the Lord left a lasting legacy that will continue through the generations that follow her. While her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the assurance that Becky is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with Al and all those who have gone before her in Christ. 

A Celebration of Becky's Life will be held at Grace Gospel Church in Huntington, West Virginia, on Saturday August 22 at 5pm. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm prior to the service. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
