Richard Lee Casey, 81, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tracy Mills at 1 pm on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Section of Dock's Creek Cemetery. Richard was born on January 27, 1943 in Huntington, W.Va. a son of the late Harold Freemont and Doris Mae Fuller Casey. He was a Class of 1960 graduate of Huntington High School.

Richard was a past-deacon at Madison Avenue Christian Church. He worked at Adel Fasteners for 16 years and at Alcon Industries for 11 years before he retired. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Dennis Casey; and his sister, Leonta Bias. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Lola Elaine Casey; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard S. (Beverly) Casey; a grandson, Richard L. Casey; and several nieces and nephews.
