Santford "Pete" Samuel Walters

Santford �Pete� Samuel Walters, 85 of Ceredo, WV, healthy, happy and full of life, laid down for a nap and woke up with the Lord. He was born on April 4, 1930 in Ceredo, WV, a son of the late Dennie and Beulah (Via) Walters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Annyce (Perkins) Walters; son, Paul Michael Walters; two sons-in-law, John Howard and Rodney Blatt; his brother, Charles Walters; his sister, Artha Lee McCarty and brother-in-law Zeldon McCarty; He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jay Finley; brother and sister-in-law Rick and Alberta Walters and brother, Darrell Walters; four daughters: Karen Howard, Joyce Swain (Randy), Vickie Blatt-Norman (Bill), Sharon Turley (Wayne); and daughter-in-law, Sherry Walters. Also surviving are his 7 grandsons: James Blatt, Michael Blatt (Kim), Shawn Howard, Joseph Swain (Ashley), Matthew Swain, Jacob Turley and Jared Turley; and three granddaughters: Stacy Darnell (John), Amy Wyman (Danny), Stephanie (Walters) Parsons and 14 great-grandchildren: Emily Swain, Nicky Blake, Mikey Blake, Dakota Parsons, Micah Darnell, Kylie Darnell, Avery Darnell, Donovan Howard, Tyler Cook and Vanessa Wyman, Iliana Adkins, Kelsey Adkins, Kailyn Adkins, Aiden Adkins; two special nieces, Crystal McCarty and Tessa (Finley) Hatten and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Josh Huffman officiating.
