Shirley Ann Hayton

Shirley Ann Hayton, 84, of Huntington, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 12pm by Rev. Brian Hayton at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo Chapel, Ceredo, W.Va. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Shirley was born on June 23, 1942 in Charleston, W.Va., a daughter of the late, Floyd and Dena Johnson Connelly. She was a bookkeeper for Big Lots. Shirley was a woman who loved her family fiercely and took pride in everything her family did. She was attending Huntington Christian Church but Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God was always her home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Warren Hayton; brother, Johnny Connelly; sisters, Sandra Finley, Betty Fyre, Donna Connelly, and Linda Mills. She is survived by her children, Sheri (Jeff) Schilling of Ironton, Ohio, Vicki Graham of Huntington, W.Va., and Brian (Brynn) Hayton of South Point, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan (Sabrina) Schilling of St. Pete, Fla., Kevin Schilling, Hannah (Levi) Lilly of Columbus, Ohio, Sarah (Brandon) Roberts of Lesage, W.Va., Eli Hayton of South Point, Ohio, Allie Hayton of South Point, Ohio, and Jaxon and Max Murnahan of South Point, Ohio; great grandchildren, Silvana Schilling of St. Pete, Fla., River Roberts of Lesage, W.Va., and Delilah Roberts of Lesage, W.Va.; one sister, Helen Cole of Huntington; and one brother and sister-in-law, Ed (Janice) Connelly of Altus, Okla.
