Stephen Braxton Canaday

Stephen Braxton Canaday, 65, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord, June 23, 2014 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Stephen was the son of the late Betty Canaday. He is survived by his only daughter and love of his life, Chrystal Moretto (Billy); two sisters, Janice Sue Hale (Harold) of Whites Creek and Tammy Sexton (Cecil) of Fort Mills, S.C.; close family Sadie Akers, and his former wife Frances Kay Robinette. He retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center after 32 years of service in the housekeeping dept.; he also worked at Superior Cadillac Olds and at Camden Park. He was a member of Central Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Steve Williams with visitation, Wednesday evening 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Home.
